The entire watch becomes a chronograph as the three central hands register chrono seconds, minutes and hours, and the two subdials register 1/10 and 1/100 chrono second resolution, the stopwatch function is operated by depressing the chrono pushers in the classical 2 and 4 o'clock format, chrono functions include split time, add time and flyback, chronograph mode can be exited temporarily to view the current time while still timing an event, mode selection toggles by pushing the crown
